Hillary Rosentreter
Policy Advisor, Tracking Progress
Hillary Rosentreter is a policy advisor with IISD’s Tracking Progress team. Her work focuses on the community indicator system Peg and the successful implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals at the local level.
She has a Master of Arts in Peace Studies from International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. Her experience includes researching Indigenous-led community-based groups in Winnipeg and the role of community organizations in tackling human insecurity, as well as collaborating with Japanese civil society groups and government bodies in Japan on the topics of peace, international relations, security, and education.
Hillary works at IISD’s headquarters located on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
